The Vinyl Institute (VI) is a United States industry trade group representing manufacturers of vinyl, vinyl chloride monomer, vinyl additives and modifiers, and vinyl packaging materials. It was established in 1982 and is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.^{[citation needed]}
