Engineering:List of Cheyenne broadcast translators

From HandWiki

The following compilation of broadcast translators in the Cheyenne, Wyoming market (including Laramie, however excluding Scottsbluff) consists of FM relay stations with information that may be too large to merge, and too small to warrant individual articles per station. Inclusivity is based on either locally based studios (thus including KOLT-FM HD2), or a consistent 40dbu (or higher) coverage to Cheyenne or Laramie as determined by the FCC. Therefore we include K213EL Laramie (local solvency: no, 40dbu rule: yes), but not K297AK (local solvency: no,[lower-roman 1] 40dbu rule: no).

Notes

  1. Although parent station KXBG is "licensed" to Cheyenne, the main market is Fort Collins-Greeley, and K297AK makes little/no attempt of covering Cheyenne as of 2021.
  2. 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 This station is a rimshot station, in which is located in a smaller area, but targets a larger market intentionally.
  3. 3.0 3.1 3.2 This station's primary coverage area is sometimes interfered with because of Tropo on the same channel
  4. 4.0 4.1 This analog station shares the frequency with a digital station, which may interfere/override at times.
