The High Risk Modular (HRM) tactical vest is a body armour used by the LAPD SWAT teams[1][2] The vest was manufactured by Point Blank Body Armour and was issued from 1987 to 2006 when it was replaced as the threat level increased beyond the capability of soft armour, into the realm of hard plate.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13] - at least 2006[14]
