Schizocarphus is a monotypic genus of bulbous flowering plants in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Scilloideae (also treated as the family Hyacinthaceae).[2] The sole species Schizocarphus nervosus is found in Africa, from Tanzania south to South Africa .[3]
