Peltastes Woodson (1932)

Macropharynx is a genus of plants in the family Apocynaceae, first described as a genus in 1927. It is native to South America and Central America.[2]

Based on a phylogenetic analysis, the genus Peltastes was merged into Macropharynx in 2017.[3]
