Lamprochromus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is generally placed in the subfamily Sympycninae, though a molecular phylogenetic analysis of the family Dolichopodidae by Germann et al. (2011) suggested that the genus should be placed in the subfamily Rhaphiinae.[2]
