Aulosphaera is a genus of Cercozoa.[1][2] The genus contains bioluminescent species.[3][4] It one of two known bioluminescent phaeodarean genera (formerly thought to be radiolarians), the other being Tuscaridium.[3] The described bioluminescent species is Aulosphaera triodon Haeckel, 1887.[4]
